Tessie's Great Blunder

"Tessie's Great Blunder" probably first appeared on Forbidden Love early in 2003, way back in the olden days, when men were men and women would bounce a frying pan off her husband's head whenever he came home drunk -- which was just about every night. But I digress. Where was I? Oh, right. Anyway, it's a ridiculous story about a dumb blonde secretary, see, who really messes up...or does she?

It's mercifully short, told in one succinct chapter. (How's that for a recommendation?)

"Thorne, why aren't you married?"

That question is usually asked by someone who is, or at least has been, married, with the implication being that one cannot possibly live a happy or fulfilling life without a spouse. They lord their marital status over you.

"I guess I just haven't found the right girl yet," I replied, staring at my vanilla ice cream cone. "Plus I'm always working -- don't really have a chance to meet anyone." I then added, "Why aren't YOU married?"

Melissa giggled. "I'm only nine!"

She lapped at her praline ice cream cone, squirming and fidgeting and repositioning herself on the cushion laid across the porch swing. The summer sun was climbing, and it wouldn't be long before we lost the shade of my neighbour's red maple.

Melissa nibbled at her cone until it disappeared, then prostrated herself on the cushion and throw pillows, draping her shapely legs and bare feet across my thighs. She pulled back her legs a little, so that the heel of one foot was pressed against my dick. "Thorne, could you massage my feet?"

I'd never received such a bold request from my little friend. I teased her: "Your highness wants a foot massage?"

The queen was amused. I massaged her soles, her insteps. Then I worked on each toe individually. I wanted nothing more than to kiss every one of those pretty little digits. Her feet were divine, the feet of an angel, as if she had ever only tread upon billowy clouds, never solid ground. I didn't so much massage them as worship them, adoring their softness, their smoothness, their beauty. The pleasure was all mine.

I continued rocking the swing, my feet firmly planted on the deck boards at the back of my house. I gazed upon Melissa's pretty heart-shaped face and alluring figure. She was wearing a baby blue top, with spaghetti straps, and matching shorts which barely covered her incredibly smooth thighs. Her long brown hair was swept back behind her ears. Her lips were rosy, and dimples formed in her cheeks when she smiled. She had such big brown eyes -- or were they brown? The dappled sunlight on her face made her irises scintillate as the upper leaves in the trees rippled in the breeze, and her eye colour seemed to change. I was enchanted by her loveliness.

Every Saturday morning Melissa would visit, and we'd drink lemonade and play checkers, or do a jigsaw puzzle, or play a board game. Sometimes she'd bring over some art supplies and we'd paint.
